Our mission at Southern Concepts is to enable people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead their unique lives with dignity, independence, and inclusion.
Southern Concept’s homes offer a warm family-like environment while promoting independence. Southern Concepts day habilitation programs strive to provide each individual with skill development, socialization and a meaningful day. The individual’s planning team works diligently to determine daily programming desires, whether that be community employment, volunteer activities or life skill training through our day habilitation center.
Southern Concepts was founded in 1980 with one group home located in Granbury, Texas. Now, as part of the Caregiver, Inc. family of care services, we serve hundreds of individuals through the ICF-IDD, HCS, and Texas Home Living (TxHml) programs. Services are offered throughout Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant, and Somerville counties.
